# ChainSolve

## What it does

ChainSolve replaces spreadsheets for non-trivial engineering calculations. Instead of cell references, dependencies are edges between blocks on a canvas. 150+ block types cover maths (algebra, trigonometry, calculus, linear algebra, statistics), data transformation (filter, map, reduce, pivot, join), control flow, iteration, I/O (CSV, HTTP, database), plotting, and custom TypeScript / Python blocks.

The computation engine is written in Rust and compiled to WebAssembly, so large calculation chains run at sub-frame latency without a server round trip. Engineers who have outgrown spreadsheets for tolerance analysis, signal processing, dashboarding, or any other dependency-heavy calculation are the target user.
